Fukuoka City Botanical Garden is full of 2,600 different kinds of plants and its greenhouse is the largest one in Asia which has 900 different kinds of rare plants. At the moment, you can see some tropical fruits on the trees. Normally opening hour is 9-17 but special night festival is held at every Saturday in August.

On the festival nights, over 500 lanterns are placed along the lane leading to the greenhouse, its dim shadowy firelight illuminates the atmosphere and it's absolutely beautiful. I’d strongly recommend you to make a visit, but be sure to bring a mosquito spray with you!
