Evacuation drills in anticipation of a disaster take place in nursery schools, kindergartens, schools, and companies everywhere in the country every year.

There is a disaster prevention center in each municipality and prefecture.

It's a facility to learn knowledge of disaster prevention, technical skills, evacuation procedures, the introduction of fire-fighting equipments, and so on. At the center, you can experience simulations of strong wind, earthquake, fire and fire-fighting drill.
