This bridge is called “Mizudori Bashi”(Water bird bridge ) because it looks like two water birds that are flapping their wings.


This park is located in Kasuya Town adjacent to Fukuoka City. It has an area of 300 square kilo meters. In the middle of the park, there is a large lake with two bridges. Some facilities and spaces such as birdwatching huts, playgrounds for children and jogging courses are there around the lake. As it also has an expansive grass field,you can enjoy picnic lunch and play catch.

You can enjoy many kinds of trees and flowers in the park all the year around.



The rose garden has 2,400roses of 180 varieties. Rose Festival is held every year in May, and many people enjoy the fragrant flowers.


The playground and atheletic zone have many playing equipment for children.



A base ball park,a heated swimming pool and a gymnasium are also located in the park.

It takes about 30 minutes by train from JR Hakata Station to Chojyabaru Station on Sasaguri Line and on foot thence.
