How romantic is the mid-autumn full moon above the Hilton Hotel, Fukuoka.

The mid-autumn full moon rose up this year after decades above the Hilton Hotel, Fukuoka.

Japanese people had lived on the lunar calendar for long time until the Meiji Government applied the solar calendar. It is easy by the moon to count on the rhythm of our life, as the sun is always round and does not change the shape while the moon changes it every day. Japanese people have felt so close to the moon that they believed that a rabbit lived on the moon.

Please look for a rabbit when you look up at the moon next time.
