Ume flowers are now in full bloom. It was Ume flowers not cherry blossoms that ancient people enjoyed a blossom viewing. Because, Ume bloom first, telling us the coming of spring. You can enjoy Kofuji grove in Itoshima City or Tobi Ume(flying apricot) in Dazaifu City, but you will find nice Ume flowers while you take a walk around your house.

Everybody will stop walking and look up at above beautiful flowers, even if there is no STOP sign.

Ume is the prefectural flower for Fukuoka Pre. and Oita Pre.
